It Starts With You


From the very first message, I want you to feel like we’re already friends. Once you reach out, you’ll hear back from me within 48 hours. I’ll ask what you’re envisioning, what kind of vibe you’re going for, and yes — I want to see your Pinterest boards, inspo pics, and any ideas swirling in your head. This is about you, and I’m here to help you create something that feels like you from start to finish.

Once I have an idea of what you're dreaming up, I’ll share what’s already coming to mind — locations, lighting, timing — and I’ll send over a custom quote and booking link with everything you need to move forward.

But that’s just the beginning.

More Than Just Showing Up


In the days leading up to our session, I’ll check in, ask if your inspo has shifted, and finalize the perfect location. One of my favorite parts of this job is location scouting — and I mean really digging into it. I spend time driving around, scrolling for hours, and searching for that spot that makes your photos feel like magic.

Sometimes that means finding beauty in unexpected places — like the time Lexi & Sam wanted a lush, green, woodsy vibe. I had planned to shoot in our nature-filled hometown… except when I got there, everything felt flat and dry. So I drove around for over an hour until I found a little pocket of green behind a softball field. It turned out perfect. You’d never guess that is where it was taken.

Making You Feel Comfortable, Always


When the day arrives, I’m not just showing up with a camera. I want to know how your day has been, if you're excited or nervous, and how you’re feeling about the session. The first 5–10 minutes are just for us to talk, settle in, and get comfy — because when you’re relaxed, your smiles become real.

Throughout your shoot, I guide you in ways that feel natural. I might ask you to walk, talk, or even tell me about your pets — whatever gets you out of your head and into the moment. Especially if there’s more than one person, I love getting you to talk to each other. That’s when the real magic happens.

What Happens After


Within 24 hours of your session, you’ll receive sneak peeks that are ready for download. No waiting weeks to get a glimpse. The full gallery arrives within one week, and I always deliver more than the minimum number of photos promised. Why? Because if I captured something beautiful, I want you to have it. No extra charges, no holding back.

After you’ve had a few days to soak it all in, I’ll send a feedback form because I genuinely care about your experience. Your thoughts help me grow, improve, and continue creating better and better experiences for every client that follows.
